8,000 Insurance Complaint
Each year, some 8,000 insurance complaints are filed with the Office of Washington State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler. Some complaints and inquiries also deal with so-called “self-funded,” or “self-insured,” employer plans, although the state’s jurisdiction is limited in these cases by federal law.
